As a human being, I am capable of understanding.
That single statement encompasses everything. Everything I experience and think. I am human. As evolved over time to the conscious, thinking, rationalizing, feeling, intelligent being that I am today. This evolution encompasses not only my personal evolution over the span of my life, growing and maturing to what I am right now and what I will become but the overall evolution of this earth and the creatures on it to allow for beings such as ourselves to be capable of consciousness. I am not talking about consciousness in the sense of us being awake but in the ability of our brains to produce thought, to be able to rationalize and make decisions and create.
